At 9:00 on February 22, 2018, the 2018 China Zirconium Annual Meeting and Radioactive Pollution Emission Standards Development Seminar was officially kicked off.
The meeting was hosted by Qi Fusheng, Executive Deputy Secretary General of the Titanium Zirconium Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association. Vice President Wang Qinhua delivered a congratulatory speech on behalf of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association. In her congratulatory message, she introduced four characteristics of the operation of China's non-ferrous metals industry in 2018: 1 overall stability, but the benefits are significantly reduced; 2 returns have been restored, but the performance is not stable enough; 3 trade friction affects demand confidence and consumption expectations; 4 The policy measures to support the development of the private economy are slower. The zirconium and hafnium industry is an important part of China's non-ferrous metal industry. It is hoped that the titanium, zirconium and hafnium branch will fully play the role of ties and bridges, conscientiously fulfill the service functions, closely track the development of the industry, closely rely on member units, do a good job in the branch, and promote the zirconium industry. Scientific and technological progress, promote the technological innovation and upgrading of China's zirconium industry, and make greater contributions to the construction of China's national defense industry and the development of the national economy.
The zirconium and hafnium industry is not large in the large family of non-ferrous metals, but its strategic position is very important. Zirconium-lanthanum material is an important material in the national defense industry. The zirconium-lanthanum industry is an important pillar of the new material industry. With the development of China's national economy, the demand for zirconia, chemical zirconium and metal zirconium is increasing, and along with national environmental regulations. It is becoming more and more strict, and there are more and more environmental problems, such as radiation pollution and treatment of three wastes. The national environmental protection policy is forcing the transformation and upgrading of the traditional zirconium and hafnium industry, and the situation is imminent. To this end, the titanium, zirconium and hafnium branch special: invited environmental experts to interpret the national environmental protection policy, understand the radiation level of the zirconium and hafnium industry, and discuss the environmental protection issues of the pulse enterprise, and explore the development of the radiation standard of the zirconium and hafnium industry. I hope that the guests and conference delegates can cherish this exchange opportunity and conduct extensive and in-depth discussions to contribute to the scientific and technological progress and transformation and upgrading of the zirconium industry in China.
