Apr 28, 2016

Process for molybdenum bars

Forming, sintering, hang forging, machining.

Two. Classification of molybdenum bars

According to the material classification:

1, pure molybdenum bar : molybdenum content is greater than 99.95%.

2, high temperature molybdenum rod (Mo La alloy bar): lanthanum 0.4~1.2%, molybdenum content in addition to the remaining impurities.

3, TZM molybdenum bar: 0.4~0.6Ti, 0.07~0.12Zr, 0.01~0.05C.

Classification by surface condition:

1, the surface of sintered molybdenum rods: silver gray metallic luster.

2, wrought molybdenum rod: the surface has a layer of oxide, the surface is black.

3, Che Guangmu stick: the surface of a metallic luster, roughness.

4, polished molybdenum rods: silver gray metallic luster, smooth surface, small size error.

Three. Methods for removal of oxide on the surface of molybdenum bars

1, molybdenum products with the characteristics of easy oxidation. To remove the severe oxide, with strong acid (nitric acid, hydrochloric acid fluoride, etc.), please pay attention to the operation.

2, the use of mild oxides add abrasive cleaning agent, with a soft cloth or sponge, etc., and then wash with warm water.

Four. Packaging of molybdenum bars

Molybdenum bar with advanced moisture paper wrapped separately, wrapped in foam, placed in a suitable wooden box, must be filled with excess space, in order to prevent vibration in transit, damage to the product

Five, molybdenum rods are used for the manufacture of electric vacuum devices and electric light source parts

Suitable for processing ion implanted parts

Used as high temperature heater and high temperature structure parts

In the glass and refractory fiber industry used as a furnace electrode, the 1300 C glass melt in the work,

long life rare earth industry used as electrode
